Research Interests: Design, synthesis and characterization of novel correlated electron spin system and quantum magnets. Single crystal growth using Bridgman furnace and floating zone image furnace. X-ray and Neutron scattering studies of emergent quantum phenomena in model quantum spin systems, particularly in geometrically frustrated magnets, spin dimer compounds, and unconventional superconductors. Experiments at the NHMFL have been focused on field- and pressure-induced phase transitions at ultra-low temperatures, utilizing innovative techniques in order to unveil the underlying physics of quantum critical phenomena.
